Alien: Romulus Renaissanse Space Station Crash

In 2022, I was invited by Director Fede Alvarez and PD Naaman Marshall to help design for Alien: Romulus.

Here are a few of my concepts I did of the space station collision with the planetary ring in the third act. It was a challenge to frame the shots with the planet in a way that conveyed the stations massive scale as it’s being ripped apart by the icy ring debris. Seeing the final epic shots by WETA on the big screen was probably my favorite sequence of the film that I’ve contributed to.
